3DPW, short for 3D Poses in the Wild, is the first outdoor dataset with accurate 3D poses, which can be used to solve the pose estimation problem. Although other outdoor datasets exist, they are smaller in scale. 3DPW is the first dataset that contains video clips captured by mobile phone cameras.

The dataset includes:

• 60 video sequences.
• 2D pose annotation.
• 3D pose obtained using the method described in the paper.
• The camera position for each frame in the sequence.
• 3D human body scans and 3D human models (re-poseable and re-sculptable). Each sequence contains its corresponding model.
• 18 3D models of different clothing items.
