DensePose-COCO is a large-scale ground truth dataset containing manually annotated images on 50K COCO images and their correspondence with the surface. This dataset has annotated 50K people and contains more than 5 million manually annotated information.

To build this dataset, the Facebook AI research team invited experts to learn dense correspondences from 2D images to surface representations based on the human body.
