AVD stands for Active Vision Dataset, which is a target detection dataset that focuses on using real images to simulate robot vision tasks in daily indoor environments. The dataset trains a fast object category detector to detect the data.
The dataset includes:
- More than 20,000 RGB-D images
- 2D bounding boxes of over 50,000 object instances (from 9 unique scenes)
