The NoW Benchmark aims to introduce a standard evaluation metric to measure the accuracy and reliability of 3D face reconstruction methods under changes in viewpoint, illumination, and common occlusions.

The dataset contains 2,054 2D images of 100 subjects captured with an iPhone X. Individual 3D head scans for each subject. The head scans are the basis for the evaluation. The subjects vary in age, body mass index, and gender (55 females, 45 males).
