MetFaces is a dataset of face images extracted from artworks. The dataset consists of 1336 high-quality PNG images with a resolution of 1024 × 1024. These images were downloaded through the Metropolitan Museum of Art Collection API and automatically aligned and cropped using dlib. Various automatic filters were also used to prune the dataset.
