SEVIR stands for Storm EVent ImagRy, which is a labeled, curated, and spatiotemporally aligned dataset that contains weather images sampled and aligned by radar (NEXRAD weather radars) and satellite (GOES-16).

The dataset contains more than 10,000 weather events, each consisting of an image sequence with a resolution of 384 km x 384 km, a time increment of five minutes, and a time span of four hours.
