FERG stands for Facial Expression Research Group. It is a dataset of cartoon characters with facial expression annotations, including 55,769 facial images of 6 cartoon characters (3 females and 3 males). Facial expressions are divided into 7 categories, namely anger, disgust, fear, joy, neutral, sadness, and surprise. This dataset can be used to study the field of facial expression recognition and analysis while protecting personal privacy.
