The OpenHermesPreferences dataset was created by Argilla in collaboration with the Hugging Face H4 team and contains about 1 million AI preference data. The dataset is based on Teknium's high-quality OpenHermes-2.5 dataset, incorporates feedback from the Mixtral-8x7B-Instruct-v0.1 and Nous-Hermes-2-Yi-34B models, and uses the PairRM model to score and rank the output. The dataset can be used to train preference models or align language models through techniques such as direct preference optimization.
