IP102 is a large-scale benchmark dataset for pest identification. The dataset includes more than 75,000 images in 102 categories with a natural long-tail distribution. In addition, the dataset has bounding boxes annotated for about 19,000 images for object detection. The dataset uses a hierarchical classification method, where pests that mainly affect the same specific agricultural product belong to the same parent category.
