Global Wheat, full name Global Wheat Head Dataset 2020, is the first large-scale dataset for detecting wheat heads from field optical images, including a large number of varieties from different continents.

The dataset contains 4,700 high-resolution RGB images and 190,000 annotated wheat heads. The images were collected from several countries and cover wheat at different growth stages and with a wide range of genotypes.
